modern technology...

is it a good thing or bad?? I began to wonder this question as my oldest son told me a little story tonight of what he did at school today. Cody was in his 6th hour class which is wood shop. He was supposed to be taking notes for a project he is about to start. Cody asked a girl in his class to distract their teacher. As the girl distracted their teach Cody ran up to the board with his cell phone and took this picture.

These are the notes he was supposed to be taking. Now he is either very clever or just very lazy?! I guess that all depends on who you ask. All his classmates thought he was a genius. I tend to agree with that, but I also feel he was being some what lazy. Or was he being a typical Cuillard boy trying to get out of any type of work he was supposed to be doing?!

According to my view of his notes you can't really see what it's telling you to do. That might be my age creeping in because I am looking at this without my reading glasses. I guess time will tell if his version of note taking will be helpful to him. His idea may make him crash and burn, but then again he may come out smelling like a rose...

What a crack up! I think that is the funniest thing. I have wondered how having a cell phone and texting would affect school and test taking, etc., but this is very clever (if you can read it, I can't either!)

Clever! I think it is efficently using his time. Yeah, efficent is the word I choose to use instead of lazy!
