What can I say about Ashlee....she is just about to turn 16 in Aug. but going on 21. She acts so mature for her age. She is not afraid to speak her mind. She will be a junior this up coming school year. She has a hard year too. She is taking 3 advanced classes. She has homework due in one on the first day of school. She enjoys texting, hanging out with friends, dance, and reading. Notice text is first in line. As Craig mentioned in his blog she hit her record last month of texting... over 15K. Not sure how she keeps all the conversations straight, but she does. Did I mention she has her permit? The first time getting in the car with her was an experience. For the first time I had anxiety. I was wanting Valium to calm my nerves. I do believe that the Lord was with us quite a few times! I do have to say as of today she is getting better. I don't have to hold the side door any longer and we are driving the surface streets instead of the back roads. She also is a very funny person. She reminds me that she already has my nursing home pickedout. Hense this saying.
All and all she's a wonderful young woman and I love when she wants to have the mother daughter chats. those are and will be my fondest memories with her.
