my 4 fathers...

While I was a little girl and through out my childhood I have always had a special place in my heart for my earthly father and Heavenly Father. When I finally grew up and married Craig my heart had more room for 2 more special fathers.

First I would like to tell you what FATHERS mean to me...

Fearless
Attentive
Thoughtful
Healer
Enthusiastic

Righteous
Supportive

Now I am going to thank the 4 special fathers that hold a special place in my heart...

The first father I would like to thank is the one I have known for 38 years. That would be my daddy. I am the 2nd child of three and the only girl. So I guess you could say I am a daddy's girl and will always be a daddy's girls. My dad was and is a great father. He was always there for me growing up. Growing up my dad drove truck and he would drive long distance. I remember going with him and he would buy me special treats. My dad was always at my sporting events cheering me on. He was there comforting me when I had a bad dreams. He was there driving me to the Temple to marry my eternal mate. My dad even had to drive me to the hospital while I was in labor with Ashlee. I could always count on my dad and I know I still can!! Thank you dad for all you have done for me through out my life! I love you lots!

The second father I would like to thank is Craig's father, Tom. A little story about my father in law I would like to share with you. I had a crush on Craig when I was 14. This was before Craig and I "went out." It was my first stake youth conference I was able to attend. They broke the youth into teams and had a scavenger hunt were we ended up in Moorpark for the rest of the events. Tom was my adult driver of our team. My best friend Rachelle Harris was in my group and when I noticed it was Craig's dad driving us I was so excited. I whispered to Rachelle that he (Tom) was my future father in law. Some how at that time I knew. I appreciate dad for all he has done for my family. Dad, with all my love!

Last but not least I would like to thank my wonderful Husband, Craig. He is very thoughtful. He goes out of his way to please me and his family. One example is driving to Tuscon 1 1/2 hour one way to get me my birthday present. Then driving another 30 minutes to my office to surprise me with my little baby...Max. He is very selfless. He always puts his family first! He is very protective of his family. He honours his priesthood. I can always count on him for anything. He works hard for his family. He is a perfectionist. Everything he does he gives a 110%. One thing I know about him that others may not is he is very sensitive. It broke his heart to see his daughter suffer when she lost her puppy. He instantly approved of another puppy if it would help heal Ashlee's heart. Craig appears tough on the outside but he has a soft side to him. He is a loving father and husband. I hate he has to travel so much and I know he does too, but he does what it take to help support our family. We love and miss him tons! Not only is Craig my husband, the father of my 4 beautiful children he is my best friend! Craig I love you and words can not express how grateful I am to you! I love you with all my heart and there is no one else I would rather spend eternity with than YOU!!!

Of course I can not forget my Loving Heavenly Father! I am grateful to Him for all these 3 men! I am grateful for all my blessing he has given me. I am grateful for 4 healthy children. I am grateful for many many things my Heavenly Father has given me!

I love all these men! I love what they have done for me and my children. I wish them all a very Happy Father's day!!

I know there are other wonderful father's out there too. I would like to wish them a Happy Father's day too!
