weekend events

Preston's Birthday was on Wed. He wanted to have a friend spend the night on Friday and then go to the movies. Craig got home Friday night. We got pizza and hung out. Then Saturday Craig and I took Preston and his friend to see the Batman, The Dark Knight. After the movie we went home and had birthday cake.

I love Preston's choice of birthday parties. There were no hassles at all. Got to love those types of parties!

Cody went to a friends birthday party. Silly boy went swimming and got to close to the bottom of the pool. Now his nose is all scratched up. He's our boy that is always getting hurt or into trouble without really trying.

Later Saturday night Ashlee, Cody and I met up with one of their friends for dinner. Cody and Ashlee met this kid on an online game. The friend knew Ashlee's birthday was coming up so after dinner he had the waitress bring a birthday dessert for her. The restaurant crew yelled and clapped wishing Ashlee happy 16th birthday. I have never seen Ashlee's face turn so red! It was very funny!

Sunday we did the usual routine. Got up, got ready for church and went to church. Cody had to speak in sacrament meeting. He did a great job. Craig and I left after sacrament so Craig could finish packing for his trip back to Texas. Later I took Craig to the airport. He will be gone for a week. Then home a week and then off again for a week. His next trip will be in Hawaii. This trip I am going! We leave Sept. 1st and then come come Sept. 7th. This is one trip I was not going to let him go by himself!

Earlier today I was trying to up date my blog. I wanted to change my template. I looked on some web sites for better templates. I found one, but couldn't figure how to down load it. I thought I got it to work, but in the end I didn't like how it looked. I thought I saved my original blog but of course couldn't find it. So needless to say I lost some things. I almost had to start over. I was very frustrated! I learned why fix something if it's not broke!
