for those of you who came up with some great ideas to help Ashlee with prom. I will keep those for future dates. Ashlee informed me that she didn't want to go to the prom because it was not her prom. So she had to let the guy down as nicely as she could without hurting his feelings.
I was a little disappointed because I was looking forward to shopping and getting ready for the whole day, but I respect her feelings. I was the same way when I was in high school. I didn't want to go to any of the school dances. Hanging out with my friends at other places was a better thing for me to do. Call me boring.

I was the same way as well. Not a big fan of formal dances. Now that Iam older I would look at them a bit differently.
