out of the mouths of babes...
For example. I was changing Jessie and I needed her PJs so I asked Preston.
Me: Preston will you please go and get me PJs for Jessie.
Preston: No can do cupcake!
Or a little while ago I was driving in the car with Preston. We were talking about things.
and Preston says...Mom all I hear from your mouth is bla bla bla bla...
At these times I just start laughing because first of all I can't believe that would come from his mouth or it just caught me off guard. Second you could here it in his voice he wasn't meaning to be disrespectful.
Kids are truly amazing.

early morning church...

Preston was out before sacrament even started...slept through the whole meeting. Needless to say we had a peaceful sacrament meeting.
Oh I love cell phones with cameras.

1 down...8 more to go...
I know I look scary, but what can I say ...I had to tackle a big project!
End results...
That is the end result of our busy day! I love the feeling when the project is done and seeing what we can accomplish.
My goal for this year is to have the rest of my house looking nice. I just need to take it one day at a time and then by this time next year my projects will be complete and then another one to start! Maybe the back yard??!! But hay that's for next year!
It was a nice, pleasant, busy day, but i had fun! Thanks to my mom and Ashlee for all their help! Love to both of you.
that's what friends are for...
Ashlee went on a date tonight and I went out to pick up Cody from his friends house around 10:30 this evening. On our way home I caught two young women in our ward chalking the sidewalk.
Here is what they wrote on the sidewalk for Ashlee....
Brought back memories for what my friends did for me and vice verse...

a new year...
Last night was a quiet evening for me. Craig was gone chaperoning the stake dance until 1. Ashlee went to the dance then to a party until 1. Cody stayed the night at a friends house. Preston was able to spend some time at a friends house until 9 and then he got to ring in the new year with me and my mom.
My mom came over and made some great cheesy potato soup. She spent the night with me helping me recover. I had my wisdom teeth pulled 2 days ago and I am still on soft foods. My mom and I didn't do much, we watched movies and then when everyone got home we went to bed.
Not a very eventful evening but I enjoyed it!
Happy New Year! I hope 2009 will be a great year for everyone!
