the best gift...

I have been given was my 4 Beautiful children. Sure I have had my moments of heart aches, worries, frustration, puzzled and just plain MAD...but those don't happen as often as the good moments. At this moment I am boasting with Pride for my sweet Ashlee!

We just found out she has been accepted to...

She wants to apply for their nursing program. She is still on the wait list for the nursing program (so our fingers are crossed), but she can start in the Spring to begin her general education. I hope she will minor in Spanish! She does so well with Spanish. It will only benefit her down the road.

Ashlee doesn't know this but it was always my dream to go to ASU. So somewhat she is living my dream!

So at this moment I am very very Proud of her! This is so worth all those upsetting moments to see your children accomplish something so great! I pray she continues to work hard to achieve her goals.

40 is the new 20...

so on December 6, 2010, I turned 40! To my surprise I am not sad one bit! I believe I was really excited for this birthday. Usually I don't like people to make fusses over my birthday let alone that I advertise it's my birthday!

I had this wild idea that since I am turning 40 I should receive 40 gifts. It was more of a hint for my dear hubby to splurge on me, but after careful thought I know my sweet hubby splurges on me throughout the year. So I went a head and bought a few gifts...

~of course I had to get my toes done~

Ashlee was so sweet and bought me a soft blanket with my favorite character, Jack Skeleton! I love the movie "A Nightmare Before Christmas" Ashlee also got me a purse sized bath and body lotion and spray.

I also had a abundance amount of family and friends wish me a Happy Birthday. That meant a lot to me that so many people took the time to wish me a good day. It truly was a good birthday!

~Here's to 40 years of a wonderful life~

19...thankful for...

this sweet lady....my mom!! I picked today's date is because it's her Birthday!! Without my mom first of all I would not be here. Second of all my mom has taught me so many things in my life...
1. She taught me when the going gets tough you keep going.
2. She taught me to drive...and to this day as I enter the freeway I can still hear her tell me, "get your ass in gear and go."
3. she taught me to rely on my Heavenly Father for everything. To pray always.
4. There are so many other things she taught me but the one thing I love most about her is she loves me unconditionally!

I love you mom and I am honored to have you for my mother!
Happy Birthday!
